While not at all harmful, the PBC-102 Bark Collar is
a sufficient deterrent to excessive barking. Place the battery
pack in the
receiver collar and attach it around your dog's neck. When your
dog barks,
a warning beep is first given, then if he continues, a mild
static shock is emitted. The first correction is half-strength,
and the
correction level steadily increases for each successive bark,
up to 6 levels. If the dog barks more than 15 times in 50 seconds,
the collar automatically shuts off for 3 minutes. The PBC-102
senses
the vibrations in your dog's throat that happen only during
barking, and only responds to your dog. It does not respond to
other dogs,
loud noises, etc. The collar uses the
