3 buttons
- the lower button is for momentary stimulation;
the middle button is for continuous stimulation;
and the top button is for a new more adverse "buzz" sound.
The gray
wheel in the upper right corner allows you
to choose from 10 levels of stimulation or
a "N" non-stimulating position.
The 3-position
gray wheel allows you to select which dog/collar
to activate and is color-coded to match the
corresponding collar.
A small
light illuminates when any buttons are pressed
and also lets you know when the battery is
getting low.

A unique feature of TriTronics
brand trainers is the ability to replace the
battery pack on the receiver. This allows the
hunter or trainer to keep a spare battery on
hand in the event the battery drains down in
the middle of a hunt or training session. It
also allows you to simply replace the battery
instead of the entire unit after the battery
wears out (battery life is estimated for 3
to 5 years). The kit includes a quick charge
charging cradle and transmitter that will completely
recharge a dead battery in 2 hours.
Another handy Tri-Tronics feature
is the intuitive 'battery status light' on
the receiver collar. A 'Green' flashing light
means the collar is fully charged. 'Yellow'
indicates that there is about a half-charge
remaining, while 'Red' signals a need to recharge
the unit in the near future. |
